One of the greatest football plays of all time. Incredible effort by Bob Mischak. There used to be a film/tape of this play. What ever happened to it. Sadly , Bob Mischak passed away earlier this year. R.I.P. Bob.

I have seen the still photos , but up until 4 or 5 years (?) ago the actual film action footage was still available as I viewed it back then. Has the film deteriorated to the point that it is not available ? Ron Tamoschat.

Thanks Phil. Really appreciate it. I remember the names of many of the Army players to this day. Tommy Bell came from my neighborhood in the Bronx. Will never forget the play of Bob Mischak.. What desire. Listened to it on the radio. The announcer said it was one of the greatest plays he had ever seen. Those Army players of Red Blaik showed a will to win that has never been matched since.

Got shellacked by Duke 44-3 . Really bad. The only thing left is to beat Navy. I don’t even care about Air force. Navy looked tough in the first three quarters against Notre Dame before falling apart in the 4thQuarter. Beating them will be very tough. Miracles do happen. RonTamoschat.
